Flow Cytometry
The Flow Cytometry group uses two state-of-the-art multiple laser
cell sorting, purification, and cloning flow systems (the Becton-Dickinson
FACSAria and LSRII) to perform analyses on up to fourteen fluorescence
parameters as well as light scatter discrimination experiments (cell
size, organelle composition and density, doublet discrimination).
In addition, a Leica LMD laser dissection microscope is available
for the precise and contamination-free isolation of specific areas
of tissue (e.g. tumor material) from single cells or cell groups according
to morphological criteria.
