Bioinformatics
Large-scale biological experiments such as those performed at Scripps
Florida generate a massive amount of raw data. The Data Architecture
Group within the Division of Bioinformatics manages numerous databases,
advanced data transfer capabilities, and other information management
systems. The group also designs and implements software to transfer
data instantaneously to a searchable database.
