A nine-member Board of Directors governs the Scripps Florida Funding Corporation (SFFC), a nonprofit corporation created by the Florida Legislature and Governor to receive, hold, invest, administer, and disburse funds appropriated by the legislature for the establishment and operation of Scripps Florida. Each year, the SFFC receives an annual report from The Scripps Research Institute detailing the overall status of the Florida operation, accomplishments from the previous year, and its standing in meeting the milestones in its agreement with the State. The information in this report is included in a formal report submitted annually by the SFFC to the Governor, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House for year ended September 30. A report detailing the scientific appointments, awards, and accomplishments at the Scripps Florida campus is also posted annually. Copies of these current and previous annual reports can be downloaded by clicking the links to the right.
