Research in the Romesberg lab focuses on different topics related to evolution, and we are part of the TSRI Training Program in Molecular Evolution. We apply methods from biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and physics to study how proteins and biological systems evolve. Researchers in the Romesberg lab have prior training in diverse fields, including molecular biology, ultrafast spectroscopy, physical organic chemistry, biochemistry, and organic synthesis, making the lab a unique an exciting place to do research. Follow the links below to read more about the ongoing projects in the lab. To read about the lab's involvement in San Diego area Educational Outreach programs, click here. |
