This year's Vendor Show will be on Tuesday May 16, 2017 and is being organized by Ben Leach and Matthew Holcomb.

The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) has implemented a policy requiring every vendor attending the Society of Fellows (SOF) Vendor Show to sign an electronic Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (MNDA) form and comply with the minimum insurance requirements set forth by TSRI for SOF show presenters. This agreement will provide protection for the Intellectual Property Rights of both parties during and following the 2017 SOF Vendor Show. The insurance form required is the standard ACORD certificate of insurance. Insurance requirements and the certificate of insurance can be found here:
Please note, that both MNDA and proof of insurance are mandatory not only for participating in the show, but also to do any type of business transaction with TSRI. Therefore, providing these forms is not a chore but an essential step in establishing your business relation with TSRI.
The electronic MNDA form will be emailed to you by the TSRI Procurement Department. When registering, please be sure to provide us with the correct name and e-mail address of your company’s personnel authorized to sign this form, as only one form can be mailed per company.
Each table is 4ft. x 8ft. in size, will be posted with table number and company name, and will have two chairs provided. Outdoor tables will be provided with a canopy tent, roof, or large umbrella for weather protection.

Regular table (White or Blue): $800

As with every TSRI vendor show, we will be holding a raffle with $1000 worth of prizes. For entry to a draw for $500 worth of smaller prizes (ipods, amazon gift cards etc), attendees will need to collect one sticker each from different table areas (Yellow, Blue, Green and White). For entry into a draw for $500 cash, attendees will receive one entry for a sticker collected from each preferred vendor, attached next to a list on the entry sheet, with locations marked on the map.

Please email Ben (TSRISoFVendorShow@gmail.com) describing the number of boxes you intend to send and the expected delivery date. The deadline for arrival at TSRI is Friday, May 5th, 2017. You can pick up your pre-shipped items at the white canopy tent by the Immunology building on the day of the show.

We have arranged for a large white canopy tent near the Immunology Building to serve as the staging area. SOF volunteers will be at the tent to help with unloading from 7:30 - 10:00 am. Please drop off equipment and displays at the tent first. Since there is no vendor parking available on the main campus, we have arranged free parking at the N. Torrey Pines Court parking lot and overflow parking at the MEM Building (see TSRI parking maps here). After dropping off your equipment, please follow the posted signs to the designated parking areas. If you do not need to drop off materials, please proceed directly to the parking areas. From North Torrey Pines Court parking lot, follow the sign-posted footpath across to the Immunology Building and the rest of the TSRI campus. A free shuttle service will be available from MEM to TSRI main campus.
Each building/area will have a designated SoF member assigned as a building host, who can be identified by wearing a SOF T-shirt. If you need help locating something, need directions to the restrooms, would like a bottle of water, or have any other question, don't hesitate to ask one of us!
Please be sure to indicate the number of people who will be attending from your company so we can be sure to order sufficient food.
The SoF will provide complimentary coffee, pastries, and fruit. A table will be located at each of the 3 exposition areas. There are also coffee vendors on the Immunology Patio and in the Beckman Building where espresso, cappuccino, lattes as well as other drinks and snack food can be purchased. Vending machines are also available in each building.
The SoF will also provide a complimentary lunch. There will be a choice of salad/sandwiches that usually come with chips, whole fruit and a cookie. A selection of soft drinks and bottled water will also be circulated throughout the buildings during the day.
The vendor show will end at 2 pm. The canopy tent staging area will once again be available for storing equipment until you pick up your car. We will also offer a shuttle service to the parking lot, in case you have heavy equipment to return to your car.
Vendor Appreciation After Show Happy Hour
After you've packed away your materials and retrieved your car, please join us for our after show happy hour to celebrate another successful show. Network with colleagues or just relax and unwind after a full day of work. We will be providing complementary beer, wine and sodas and a selection of hors d'oeuvres from 2:30-4pm at the TSRI Faculty Club, North Torrey Pines Court (a map will be provided). Please indicate on the registration form if you will attend the after show Happy Hour.
