Core Microscopy Facility

The Core Microscopy Facility at Scripps Research provides services for Electron microscope as well as Confocal and Deconvolution Microscopy and Laser Capture Microdissection. The core offers a full service including design, implementation and interpretation of data. We also encourage qualified individuals to carry out their own microscopy projects. Training on all our instruments for independent use is available by arrangement.

We strongly recommend that appointments are made in advance for all projects so that proper planning, preparations and scheduling are appropriately made. Above all, please do NOT arrive at the appropriate lab unannounced with samples to be processed.

The Core Microscopy Facility operates on a fee for services basis. It should be clearly understood that while collaborations can be arranged, nevertheless such collaborations are NOT in lieu of payment for any of the services provided.
