GenMAPP

GenMAPP (Gene Map Annotator and Pathway Profiler) is a computer application designed to visualize gene expression data on maps representing biological pathways and groupings of genes.

http://www.genmapp.org

Features:

  • Graphics tools that allow drawing of pathways
  • Color genes on MAPP files based on user-imported genomic data
  • Query genomic data against MAPPs and the GeneOntology with MAPPFinder

Input:

Lists of genes/proteins to build new MAPPs, gene expression dataset using primary ID (e.g. Affymetrix, Unigene, GenBank, etc.)

Output:

Folder directory of MAPPs to HTML, computer graphic (BMP, JPEG), or vector printout

Availability:

GenMAPP is a free download available through the GenMAPP website.
