NWiS Coffee Hour
First Monday of every month, 3-4pm

This monthly informal get-together is a great chance to interact with fellow scientists and meet new people, with snacks, tea and coffee. Faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students of all genders are welcome to attend. This month, Heather Buschman, Scientific Communications Manager at Sanford-Burnham,woill be talking about how to become a science writer and what kinds of career opportunities exist.  

NWiS General Meeting

The General Meetings are held once a month. We use the meetings to plan events and discuss ideas for NWIS. Everyone is welcome! Free lunch will be provided.
