Welcome to the Kellogg School of Science and Technology Graduate Program at Scripps Florida. We are building a world-class institute on our Florida campus with state of the art facilities and research programs that span the full range of disciplines that comprise the biomedical sciences—cancer biology, cell biology, immunology, neurobiology, infectology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and bioinformatics to name just a few.
Graduate students in the Scripps-Florida program will have the opportunity to select a research mentor from among a group of outstanding faculty, who were recruited to Scripps Florida from leading research institutions nationally and internationally. Importantly, the integration of the academic research activities at Scripps Florida with our in-house drug discovery and advanced technology programs will provide a unique environment for our students to identify cutting edge problems for study, and to emerge as sophisticated Ph. D. scientists with a unique perspective on the interplay of the biological and chemical sciences on the translation of academic discoveries to the public sector. The research environment that we are establishing at Scripps Florida is unmatched by any institution in the world.
Please take this opportunity to read about the research interests of our faculty—I am certain that you will be attracted to many of our exciting research programs. I also encourage you to submit an application to join the outstanding Ph. D. program that we are building at Scripps Florida!
