Do you have chronic back pain?

If so, you may qualify for a brief research study being conducted by investigators at TSRI and Scripps Green Hospital to find out how the long-term use of opioid pain medicines can affect patients with back pain. Participants may be compensated. This is an observational study and does not involve treatments.

Who is eligible to participate in this study?

What will happen during the study?

On each visit you will be asked questions about your health, and asked to give a small blood sample. In between visits, you may be asked to keep a medication diary.
