Blood Cells, Molecules, & Diseases  is the successor to Blood Cells, a journal published by Springer Verlag for twenty  years. Blood Cells, Molecules, & Diseases is an electronic journal currently published by Academic Press and appears in electronic form on their IDEAL website with a print edition published six times per year. Papers published are included in MedLine, Reference Update, Current Contents, EMBASE, and Adonis bibliographic services.

Readers are encouraged to submit commentaries on published articles via email to bcmd@urmc.rochester.edu.  Where appropriate these will be published in the printed journal.
