The Scripps Research Institute is located in the Torrey Pines area of La Jolla, north of San Diego, and overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Directions from San Diego Airport to TSRI
* Stay straight to go onto AIRPORT EXIT.
* Turn SLIGHT RIGHT.
* Turn LEFT onto N HARBOR DR.
* Turn LEFT onto W LAUREL ST.
* Turn LEFT onto PACIFIC HWY.
* Turn RIGHT onto SASSAFRAS ST.
* Turn LEFT onto INDIA ST.
* Turn SLIGHT LEFT to take the I-5 N ramp.
* Merge onto I-5 N.
* Exit at the GENESEE offramp.
* Turn LEFT at the light onto GENESEE
* Continue up the hill as it curves to the right it turns into N. TORREY PINES RD.
* Turn left at SCRIPPS CLINIC S. DRIVEWAY
* Make an immediate right to turn into the ACE PARKING lot ($2 flat fee).
* The Skaggs Institute/Molecular Biology is directly in front of the SCRIPPS CLINIC S. DRIVEWAY entrance.
Directions from North County to TSRI
* Take 5 SOUTH
* Exit at the GENESEE offramp.
* The offramp curves right and puts you onto GENESEE
* Continue up the hill as it curves to the right it turns into N. TORREY PINES RD.
* Turn left at SCRIPPS CLINIC S. DRIVEWAY
* Make an immediate right to turn into the ACE PARKING lot ($2 flat fee).
* The Skaggs Institute/Molecular Biology is directly in front of the SCRIPPS CLINIC S. DRIVEWAY entrance.
